Simple Ways to Take Care of Your Doll

Dolls never seem to go out of style. They come in all shapes and sizes, and you can choose different clothes for them too. However, keep in mind that the bigger the doll is, the more care they require.

It’s not far-fetched to assume that taking care of your 18-inch doll is like taking care of your own child or younger sibling. You can’t just keep a doll on display and not expect it to require some form of maintenance. Here are some ways to make owning a doll more interesting:

·         Think of a name. A lot of dolls come with a name you can use, but renaming it yourself is more fun—it exercises your imagination.
·         Buy clothes for your doll. You can make your own outfits, or purchase from companies that manufacture both dolls and custom doll clothes.
·         Keep them clean. Use a wet towel to wipe the dust off its surface. Dolls made out of cloth can be hand-washed, but as a precaution, always check the instructions that come with them.
·         Care for their hair. If your doll has hair that resembles a human’s, brush it regularly to keep it from getting tangled or from accumulating unwanted particles.

Owning a doll comes with responsibilities. It’s your job to see to it that they’re cared for properly.
